If you go onto sites such as black circles they have peoples opinions on the tyres for sale on there so can make ur mind up on there, i have toyo prox 4's and there ok, the pzero neros wore to quick, as did conti contact 2's,
i'd go for the goodyears, my mates got a set on his car atm, dont gte p-zero's though, they're crap, they wear down too quick and its like driving on ice with them when its the slightest bit of rain!!!
got f1s on front and contis on the back... love the f1s but not had any probs with the contis either, my brother had yokos on his gti (now got a TT) and he said they were fantastic but needed warmed up first otherwise was like driving on ice for first three miles of any trip so he now swears by the f1s
Well thanks for the comments people. Looks like im going to place an order for 4x Goodyear GSD3 F1s.
Ive had a look on Camskill as a friend at work recommended them and ive seen they are £61 each which i think is pretty good. Although i was tempted by the Toyo T1Rs as they are on offer for £44 each
i hear that Pirelli P-zero Neros and Goodyear F1 GSD3s both are very goods tyres but what sort of driving you goin be doing and sort of road's goin be driving most the time,
but the Goodyear F1 GSD3s seem like a lot better tyres and what most people are saying to.
See I always insist on chatting to my tyre guy about which tyres to go for and he said that tyres with the V shape are intended to get rid of water as much as possible, tyres with directional (and generally more straight patterns) like the conti sport contact 3['s/B] are intended for high speed cornering.
Despite having Toyo's and F1's on previous cars (only problem was how quick they wore) I opted for conti sport contacts and I have to say I'm quite impressed. I've not noticed any difference in wet performance and in the dry providing you have the torque to pull the front of the car in the desired direction they just grip and grip.
I'm about to renew them as they're down to 2.2mm (~10,000 miles later, which for me is a LONG time on one set of tyres)
Reading all this I want to try the Goodyear's again but then I also think stick to what you know.
Anyone here tried to Continental Sport Contact 3's and the Goodyear s and has an opinion.
Probably the only V shaped one that would stand any chance in snow.

Having read some more I notice that the Asymmetric Goodyear F1 looks quite good.
Think I'll try that next unless my tyre guy feels the conti's are significantly better.
For all you Goodyear fans, go on mytyres.co.uk check out the two.

The only question in my mind is have goodyear marketed it well as ALOT of reviews exist for them.
Just because everyone else does it doesn't mean its the right thing to do.
I went for the Goodyear F1s GSD3s in the end. I must say they are the best tyre ive ever had. Nothing but grip and more grip in both the wet and the try. Well worth the extra few quid
