Whats this connector for?

found this hanging down from the bonnet release catch, wondered what it is for and if I should connect it to something?

for ure alarm

that would explain alot, becuae my alarm siren never goes off, even though the indicators flash! but its not long enough to connect to the siren, if thats where it goes.

nah not the siren there should be another connector to plug it into on a loom
