Think I need it checking out

These are my 3rd lot of PS3s btw, £300 fitted a pair from Kwik Fit Online.

Fook me,

thats exactly how mine were.

I was going to drive away after the alignment was done and go to Costco to buy Michelin PS3's @ £152 each fitted.

but the thought of being pulled over by a copper, or a plod walking past the car and seeing the tyres and thinking:

hello hello hello, heres a £60 fine for each illegal tyre and 3 point per tyre, i thought balls to it and get new tyres on it while it was still up on the ramp.
The Bridgestones were £160 each fitted

i've got a free retest with that so i'll go back in a couple of weeks and get it checked over again.

hopefully, thats the end of the issue.

To be fair these had done 17k on the rear and 10k on the front. Can't complain at 27k's worth.

Should I be worried that it's less than a year/8k since I last changed my front tyres and they need changing again?

Get it aligned, avoid kerbs & potholes etc then it all depends on your driving "style".

Was thinking more on the lines of alignment than cost

I would be mate. You should be getting more than 8k out of a set of tyres.

National tyres charged me £29.50 to align the rears and the same for the front so £69 for 4 wheel laser alignment.

That is better than working out £130+ each for decent tyres.

Get the alignment checked asap.

Ok thanks will get it re alligned first then go from there. I made the mistake of buying budget mich tyres, never again! P zeros next time
