Hi all.
Just picked up the car from service and I cant fault the service i receve from Taunton Seat, but I do have an issue with the Seat Warranty.

I have got 4 unmarked alloys, but on the insides they are corroding. Seat wont replace as they say it is due to wheel cleaner being used and not being washed off properly.

I dont use wheel cleaner just shampoo and wax them regularly.

Is there any good lines/phrases to use when I contact Seat customer services tomorrow? I had an issue with suspension that has only just be resolved, should I bring this up and say I am loosing faith with Seat's warranty/brand?

Thanks for any help.

Josh

Thought I'd reply seeing as you are from Taunton. I've just bought a Cupra TDI and I live in Wellington. So is the Taunton Seat garage any good?

Sorry I can't help on the actual question!

Ive had a similar issue ,

I took my original Seat wheels off my car within weeks of buying it new , Stored them in The Shed wrapped in plastic , There corroding quite abit

Mentioned it to Seat UK and basically they said because there not on the car there corroding:cartman:

Surely the lack of Road Salt etc would stop them corroding not make it worse
