Question to you all; I finally signed my paperwork and the car has arrived at the dealership. I now have a 2 week cooling off period that needs to pass before I can get the car delivered, just in case I decided to cancel.

Has anyone else had this? Seems odd as I thought the 2 weeks would start once the car is delivered.... why would I cancel now, once the car has actually arrived. Its just more delays!

That’s a liberty!

I’d expect the cooling off period to start once the car is in your possession.

Was yours through NVC mate? I saw on The Formentor Owners FB group someone else who managed to waive it because he waited for the car for so long. Maybe ask and see if you can waive it

Went and did all my paperwork today, and see my car. Pick it up tomorrow afternoon

Cupra lettering is now chrome instead of black, and also has a VZ badge fitted too. Seems that this is how they come now

It is through NVC buddy... I have been in contact with the dealer, NVC and ALD but they all say that it can't be waivered... I don't want to suggest putting a complaint in and ruffle feathers so i'll just grit my teeth for the next 2 weeks. Gives me time to get rid of the BMW anyway ?

Had anymore progress on yours yet?

Not sure how I feel about the chrome badges. Think they might look better against a black or darker car. I did see some bronze Cupra lettering and wondered how that would look, but I think the black lettering against the white or in my case Graphene Grey stand out better. As for the VZ badge, I would have to remove that, it just messes with the symmetry and upsets my karma. I've always removed the boot model badges on my previous cars.

I think badges are very much going to be a "personal taste" thing - some are going to love them, others aren't going to at all! I think that black badges would work on white, whereas the chrome badges would look really good on the darker models. I'd be very happy to have the VZ badge on the back of mine if that's what I end up getting.

I quite like the extra VZ badge on the side now but not sure about the chrome, probably would be better if it was satin rather than gloss but that can easily be sorted out!

Oh no! I bet it's more of a killer than you know it's sat there and waiting for you now :ROFLMAO: Not much since being told mines being built in Week 5, did get an email from LO last week saying that ALD needed my details reconfirming as my credit acceptance had to be extended, so they can deliver my car whenever it rocks up

I’ll definitely remove the VZ badge, and will most likely change chrome lettering. The black looks better against the white

Not sure what the standard form is with badges and lettering.
Vz2 arrived today with black lettering and no small format badges

My VZ2 310 was delivered last month. It’s midnight black with black lettering. No VZ badging. I like the understated mystery. Chrome’s too brash for me.

Agreed with the "understated mystery". I had my previous 2 cars debadged on order.. not everyone's cup of tea but hey, each to their own ?

Lots of news regarding VZ2's recently. Hoping mine (ordered 27/10) becomes part of the good news to some extent. Even a build week would get me back engaged and excited.

Anyone else receiving news that ordered around the same time? Lease company? Direct order?

Hi, I made order of Formentor 1.5TSI DSG-7 on 28/10/2021. Lease company confirmed delivery date to 2-3weeks from now.
