I ordered the end of September and just been told build week 6. So it will be near enough 6 months from order (unless they loose it). I Spoke to a Kia dealer last week, while looking for the wife’s new wheels and they were saying 2-3 months max as they make their own chips now.

I was the same, I thought the finish was better, spec was better and it was comfier
Same here too. I was considering a few options earlier on in my search - things like the Kia Niro and Hyundai Kona. The Kona was a very worthwhile contender for me - it looked very economical on paper and practical, but the ride quality didn't rate very highly and the interior just seemed a bit too tacky and I wasn't that fond of the infotainment system. Then I stumbled upon the Formentor completely by accident in a showroom, thought "That looks really nice" and then discovered they had PHEV specs available. Then had a test drive with a Hybrid VZ2 and the rest is history.

Ordered my V2 DSG in Mag Tech Grey in September and I was told it’s left the factory 1 week ago! Not too sure how long it’ll be until I get it now but hopefully not too long!

Same! Mine has been in transit from the factory since the 20th.

However, looking at the port schedules for Barcelona, there isn’t any United Spirit or Aquarius Ace vessels going there in the next 2 weeks (I can’t see past that). So I’m not too sure when the next ship will be, looks like we’ll be on the same ship!

I had a look as well and couldn’t see any, the dealership said it it normally takes 3 weeks for them to get the car delivered to them from when it leaves the factory, maybe there is we are missing ?

Mines been confirmed for build this week, so hopefully it's all plain sailing and hopefully there are no delays! I was told by my lease provider that it takes from 4-6 weeks once built :) @General Dryness has explained a few times that once your car has left the factory there is a bit of a blackhole where you have no idea what's going on until it arrives at one of the UK ports :)

Definitely keep an eye on Marine Traffic as well, it gives you some fun to pass the time guessing when/which ship your car will be on :ROFLMAO:

If you have ordered from a Cupra dealer, they should be able to tell you when your car will be loaded onto the ship, although they won't know the name of the ship. They told me the date mine was leaving Barcelona and I could then check the ship tracker and see what vessel was at Barcelona on that day and get the name of it, then track it all the way to the UK.

Aquarius Ace was last in Barcelona on the 23rd of January and left on the 24th, since then it’s went to France now over to Belgium, maybe your car is on that!

Potentially, if what everyone is saying is true regarding the ‘black hole’ then maybe it is but from what I was told after the 23rd is that ‘it’s in transit’ :(

Ah are they being used as well? I thought Cupra only used Aquarius Ace and United Spirit.

I am loving the detective work!
