Where are the Injectors located

Just wondering where about the injectors are located on a pd130 engine and are they easy to remove/replace.

They are bloody expensive

They should be located along the top of the engine block. Think you might need to remove the cylinder head to get to them.

The link below is for a three cylinder PD engine but it`s the same basic design. Injectors are mounted on the right of the rockers.You need to know what your doing fitting PD injectors really as they need to be central so they inject the diesel into the combustion bowl properly etc. Any real reason for the question or just interested?

Im going to pull some off a VRS being broken round here and wanted to know where they are.

chears for the replies much appreciated, that pic has clarified it totaly for me, also getting some new hubs for the 312brakes to go one and a new inlet manifold.

Removing injectors is fairly easy. Just be careful when unplugging the injectors from the ECU lead and when removed be very careful with the tips, i wrap them up individually in bubble wrap for safety.

thinking of sending them off to be cleaned , is it worth doing?

Never heared of anyone doing that before. Just run a few tanks of injector cleaner through should clean them if they are dirty.

right no wories mate will do chears, they only have 30k on anyway
