Where can i get a copy of Vagcom from?

hi guys,just wondering where i could get a copy of vagcom from?
my leon 1.8t Auq dashboard is like blackpool illuminations at the moment.Got engine management light,ABS,Traction Control,Airbag lights all come on in last 2 weeks.
I refuse to pay the stupid costs to have someone plug in a laptop and tell me when i could do it myself and possibly fix the car myself.

any help gratefully appreciated.

you can buy the vagcom 409.1 cable off ebay for about 8quid. then google "rosstech" and download the VCDS lite version from their site which will be good enough to code scan your car

Few of the cables on ebay come with a vcds version of vagcom

the thing i'll add to this.
unless it a registed copy, cuts off once it gets to abs

theres a little device for these motors. a u281 is it
cost about 18 quid, but does really work

i have a proper diagnostic one, but wouldnt read a 97 audi a3 1.8t
this one does, and also reads abs
for the price, has to be the best one out there
