where can i get a new or recon turbo??

does any1 know where i could get a reconditiond or a new KO4 turbo for the mk1 seat leon cupra r?? mines has jst lost it last legs and needn a another one quick!

I'll be honest i don't know to be honest. I just guess it's cheaper to get it rebuilt if you can get it off the car etc..Saves a bit of money.

Or this could be an excuse to upgrade to a bigger turbo

Hybrid is definitly a good choice. As above, Seems you can get a new KO4 on Ebay

how cum you got a s3 engine? and 210 and 225 both use the ko4 turbos

Pretty sure it will fit as Wayne said the 210 and 225 are exactly the same , try badger bill for more info tho

except that turbo states it does not have the boss for an EGT sensor, and both the AMK and BAM ECUs require an EGT sensor.

Cos they don't make any more power than a standard unit so don't see the point in them tbh 2pf my mates had them belsey and another both pulled the same as mine
