Where does the end of this pipe go?!? Ecomotive (2009)

While digging around under the bonnet for something else, I noticed the end of a pipe dangling free.

It's the very top pipe of whatever three are going into whatever sensor that is by the water bottle,

I've fished around and felt all the possible places it could go in the radius of where it ends, but can't find anything.

Car seems to run without it plugged in, but it's probably better that it's connected!

(Out of interest, what are these three pipes? Temp? Pressure? Air flow?)

Probably for the rear washer jet. Does your rear washer jet work?

I suspect not, as the other two pipes connect to either the engine or a small sensor above it, and the device by the washer bottle is a sensor, not a pump.

I don't know much about modern DERV engines, but that looks a lot like a vacuum pipe and if you maybe used a mirror you would find an "empty" place to reconnect it to.

Aha, finally found it - was looking in TOTALLY the wrong place. It goes on near the top of the air filter. I hadn't been looking there because there was already a MAF(?) sensor on the pipe into it, so I didn't see the little spot for it to go into at the top!
