Where is my Temperature sensor??

I have done a search with no luck.

Where is my temperature sensor on my mk3 ibiza cupra?

I have a new sensor but can't find it on the car!

Its a mk3 ibiza cupra 1.8 20VT!

help asap!

exterior temp sensor is under the passenger mirror.

water temp sensor is to the right of the head. near the maf

I mean the engine temp sensor?

Its got 1 plug on it, and the sensor on the end....

Is it by the maf yea? I couldn't see it when i looked....

Just had a look, can't see anything by the maf that looks like it?

between maf and head. its on a water pipe. check all water pipes in the area. cant miss it

Be careful with the plastic clip, they break easily.

But i dropped the bloody clip that stops it coming out! It didn't drop all the way through either!!

Typical. Thats what happens when you do things in the dark!!! Will have a look in the day light tomorrow, if not ill have to order another one! Not goood!

will a faulty temp sensor cause the dial in the car to read wrong???

Mine reads nothing at all sometimes but the water temp itself is fine as is the heaters
