Where is the EGR valve

Please can any one tell me or post pictures of the EGR valve on a Altea 1.9 tdi. I can't find the dam thing. How easy is it to take out and clean? Thankyou.

back left of the engine, silver cap, easy to drop off and clean up, have a look in the TDI FAQs topic in the TDI section on here.
