where is the o2 sensor bank1 Lambda

I have a new sensor in hand. going to jack the car up and put it on axle stands after work and fit the new one

anyone point me in the right direction as to where it is exactly

In the exhaust.. Think the O2 sensor is the pre cat one..

there is more than one is there not? i know it screws into the exhaust from the outside, My exhaust is aftermarket, does it normally plug into the cat, or in my case decat?

There's two, one before the cat and one after.

you can change it parked on a high kerb, plug in the plastic bit first in the engine bay and feed the pipe down then get under the car and screw it in to the exhaust.

bank 1 sensor 1 is main lambda
bank 1 sensor 2 is post cat one

its down behind the back of the engine, on the left of the turbo (from the front)best plan if you dont know is to follow the cable up from the exhaust from underneath, there will be 2 plugs, i think 1 brown 1 black - i *think* its the brown one.
