the order is really up to you depending on what you want to achieve. if you're looking for subtle change to the look you can do wipers, ariel, alloys, etc.

if you want straight up power then an ecu remap will give you most bang for your buck but there is other stuff to consider like the recirc dv. if you want to deal with handling you can think about anti-roll bars, suspension, dog bone bushes, etc.

the list is almost endless and it really depends on how much you have to spend and what you want to achieve!

cheers skahigh, yeh it is mainly the performance i want 2 focus on. i prety much just want a bit more power, 2 get it away from the standard cupra r spec. I was thinking of going ahead and geting the jabbasport remap, but i have seen ppl on here saying that to maximise the effects of the remap, its best to add a few mods prior to this. so am just waiting 2 order the parts, what should i go for 1st, and if u have these mods on ur LCR do u have a contact num 2 place an order ?? cheers m8

I would say go this order

Exhauste
Filter

Remap closely followed by
Breakpads and Front and rear strut

Coilovers

What this basicly does is Zauste and Filter will help maximise the remap. then after the remap you will want some faster acting pads and the strut will help you corner better with less twisting.

the coilovers will help keep the cupra firmly planted to the ground and a good stiff ride. But these may not be to your liking as not everyone appriciates a firmer ride.

Im not sure on what brand/make you should get etc as im not fussed about performance so much but this is how i did it in my gti toy before she blew up.

I would agree this is a good order to do things because by this time you have spent over £2,000 [B)]

There is no point in changing the exhaust at this stage of things. Unless you go for a full, turbo back system including down pipe and sports cat, you wont gain any power. And a turbo back system is going to cost around £500+ if you go for a Blueflame system and will give you around 10bhp tops, probably less in reality. That same £500 could be put to much better use in a remap.

And if you're already remapped, then take that £500 and spend it on ARB's, which will give a much better improvement than an exhaust.

Then things like suspension, FMIC, air intake, brake pads, short shifter and dogbone mount are all much more worthwhile than changing the exhaust. Once you've done all that, get the full exhaust system and get a stage 2 remap. It's only when you get to sage 2 that the exhaust offers good value and becomes worthwhile.

Exhaust changing before stage 2 is a cosmetic mod.
