Hi, I wanted to mount a Ramair intake, but I don't know which one to choose and will this one be the best for my car?

I don't know if I should buy JSK-103-80 (left photo) or JSK-103 (right photo). Which kit should I buy?
The second question is, after installation, should I use any preparation on this filter sponge?

Hi as we can’t see any descriptions just photos I’d suggest you buy the one listed that is for your car specifically. You need to contact who ever is selling the intake to ask them which one to fit.

The 2nd one looks like the one i bought for my car.
The heat shield wasn't great at stopping, well heat lol.
Seems to be a pretty good filter though.

From a quick Google, Ramair filters come pre-oiled. And Ramair can also supply a cleaning and re-oiling kit. Can't limk to it 'cos work PC blocks their site but have a look on ramair-filters.co.uk.

Ive read on hear that oiling the filter can cause problems with the maf sensor. Oil getting on it, damaging it and stopping it working. So go easy.

I put a light misting of oil on mine just to give it a 1st line of defence against dust but not enough to soak it.
So go easy if you do use it.
