Which Boost controller

Coming from a Jap back ground my S14a, MR2 turbo and Evo all had Apexi AVCRs to control the boost. These devices are probably one of the best money can buy but are they over kill for a SEAT?
Apart from manual boost controllers what do people run on here?

its pretty rare for anyone to run a boost contoller on here...

However some remaps allo the boost to be adjusted.

Really thats interesting
The only reason i ask is that my car's had a remap and has an MBC but i know these are not particularly reliable and an Electronic controller holds boost better than an MBC
