Hi all,

I've got a Mk1 leon cupra 2004.. If I can remember correctly the suspension that's on it at the moment are Koni.. Springs and dampers, got the car with them already on.

Suspension is pretty much going now, their rusty to hell.. I've owned the car 4 years now so they've probably been on the car 5 years+

I've been looking at coilovers but not sure which to get! Budget is around £450 - £500, don't really want to go any higher.

Can anyone recommend a good quality set ?? I'm not wanting to go ultra low / slammed, all I'd say is a nice little sutle drop. 40mm maybe. (A lot of speed bumps and horrible roads where I live)

FK Silverline got my attention, £445.. Quality on the FK's ??

Appreciate any replies.. Cheers.

Luke.

Hi mate, I have just recently stuck AP coilovers and quality is very decent and its well within your budget range. Ride quality is also good. Thought I share that.

On eBay there are damping adjustable coilovers for around £500ish

Best option really set the height then dial in how comfy you want it haha

I dropped 35mm to begin with. Drove It around for about 500 miles to let the springs settle a bit and decided to drop further 10mm so at 45mm drop at the moment. No touching or rubbing of driveshafts so far thank god:)
