Which engine - where is the engine code?

I have a recently purchased an early '09 (pre facelift) Altea 2.0 TDI 140, I presume that this will be the BKD engine? Where would I find out for sure?

Look in the boot and there's a sticker on the left hand side (usually) with all the build details on it.
