which oil to use 1.8t 20v

i am about to to a turbo re build on my 1.8t 20v golf which will be running around the 290bhp mark. the engine has coverwed 95k miles and am just wondering which oil i should be rplacing it with. i did buy some mobil1 0w40 ready tp put in the engine after the turbo was done and back on, but since buying it i have discovered it is a think oil and may pass through the oil seals in the turbo. any recommendations as to which oil to use would be great, thanks dave.
 
0-40 fully syth in mine at the mo but thats me for the winter as its geting hoter i will now be putting 10-40 fully syth in
 
do you think i should take it back for something bit thicker then like the ow40, which oil is recommended for these engines? make etc

I read ALL the threads and went for quantum synta gold (fully synthetic) 5W-40 from the dealers, cost about £40 in the end. Lots of different opinions as to whats best so ultimately you will still have to decide for yourself.
