I just emailed Gendan and got a fast and honest reply (I'd like to place an order here in that case ). They said that it will work with my LCR but they can't guarantee it will be able to do MAF readings. It will be able to though right, on 409.1?

I will buy the full version soon but it's Xmas and unfortunately I have a problem that needs addressing asap preferably.

Erm not sure about the MAF readings dude, I haven't really learnt what can be done with it yet as I just wanted to clear a fault code and haven't had time to play around with it, but I'm sure someone will be able to tell you.

I would definitely recommend Gendan, I ordered the cable last Thursday night and it came Saturday morning recorded delivery (it was free P+P)

Finally managed to get it sorted today

Threw up 3 codes - one of which was the maf. Kinda happy that it was, seing as i've gone and bought a new one

Just the shareware version, lets me do what i need, logs and clear fault codes. Can't really say, as the cable was given to me by my dad, the version is 409 off ross tech's site.

That's a very old version. Current software from rosstech is release version 908.1, or beta 912.0

But 409 is the newest version of shareware software. All newer versions require license and activation.
