Stage 1 = predicted 210-225hp

Maybe they deemed 245hp to be to much!!

Those will no doubt be an average figure they have experienced. why else would they put up a range.

Also you cant just look at it as a 8 hp peak gain. The midrange gains could well be bigger. You might have a plateau of power and be maing that peak power for a maybe 1000rpm.

Not sure if any of you guys are savvy with higher maths and integration. But when you look at a Dyno graph it is the amount of area onder the power curve that really matters. So a car with a power spike of 245hp could and most probably will be slower than a car making less power but making it for a longer area, as there is a larger area under the curve.

Peak figures are for pub/forum boasting.

Stage 2 on the K03 TFSI was only around a 10-15 hp gain. Doesnt sound much but you make the power for so much longer, as the power band is wider. It'll still be worth the swap i reckon.

LOL, yeah maths was never my strong point and trust me I still struggle looking at a dyno graph hahahahahahahahahha. I am happy with what I heard when I spoke to them over the phone so it's all good for me.

just looking at my dyno graph now i hit 230 bhp approx 5600rpm and stays above peaking at 236.7 at 5771rpm and stays above 230 until approx 6750rpm my torque peaked at 222.2lb/ft or 301.4nm at 2670 rpm and is flat on that line near enough and drops off at about 5700. i will try and post a pic up of it but i have got to get round to setting up the photobucket account which i havent done yet. the lines are very smooth and straight no spikes anywhere either.

lol well done mate i have had a pretty **** few days i need some cheering up lol. the news from amd is they are sending someone to my house tomorrow at 7am!!!! to try and get it going and taking it to their workshop then checking it thourougly again and bringing it back after! really good after service i think they have been great. If they cant sort it it is booked in at dealer monday
