Remember superchips give you a guarantee that if their remap does any damage to your engine they will repair it,

I don't think that's exactly the words they use

The Superchips Warranty applies (subject to the Terms & Conditions, available on request) to damage directly caused to the relevant Motor Vehicle arising directly from Mechanical or Electrical Breakdown by reason of failure of the Superchips product installed by a Superchips Authorised Installer (or by the Customer using a bluefin device) during the period of this Warranty.

Summary of cover
Mechanical or Electrical Breakdown:
Being the sudden and unforeseen failure of a component of the Motor Vehicle directly attributable to the operating of the Superchips product, the subject of this Warranty, which has caused the Motor Vehicle to stop working and therefore requiring repair or replacement before normal operation can be resumed.

So if you read this (from their website) you'll spot that the "Superchips product" is the Blufin device... so what does the cover actually cover?

Food for thought.

However, just read reviews. Take opinion as exactly that... nobody ever admits to wasting their money. Ignore those who radically over egg their figures, inevitably they will be wrong.

It's interesting that the Mk2 guys recommend a different set of tuners to the Mk1 guys. Most of us use Custom-Code if we're after a smooth map, or Revo/AmD/P-Torque for a more aggressive map.
