Hi, I need to replace the brake pads and discs. I would rather stick to genuine parts, does anyone know who makes the genuine parts? ATE? Lucas? Don't want to buy from the stealers if I can get them cheaper elsewhere.

Thanks in advance :)

I believe it's Bosch. Along with discs, coil packs, sensors, some of the turbos (Bosch owns mahle), dash board display, harness connectors etc etc

I thought that there was some truth in this as I had read "Galfer" on some brake parts, so I've looked them up and see that they are traded as part of Continental Group. Also they have a factory in Spain, so it makes sense that SEAT use them at factory, but, I don't think that any of the big motor factors sell them as aftermarket parts. (I don't mind being proved wrong here) So, for close to factory spec I'd say stick with TMD, ie Textar/Pagid and if you must Mintex - ECP tend to sell Pagid branded brake parts which I use and seem to be okay. SEAT used to use Bosch branded pads but that seems to have changed. I'm not sure who supplies brake discs, but the Pagid branded ones seems okay.

That's brilliant, thanks for your help. I'm not looking for anything special as this is definitely a road car but quiet is a must, less dust would be great but can't seem to find the Textar epad for this car. Euro car parts currently have 25% :)
