The standard one is very soft and can tear easily in less than 20k, see Nev_LCR's recent post.

Also the OE one is prone to this at high boost:

The Forge silicone one is tougher, won't collapse, comes in a colour choice and looks shiny

I beleive it will also increase throttle response and make the turbo spool a little faster.

Better air flow, does not collapse. Looks a million times better. All we need is for Forge to do a group buy

Its also less restrictive then the standard one as its bigger where it fits on to the turbo as it does away with the metal piece on the old TIP

allows better flow for top end too and aids boost to be spread further up the rev range when mapped
