why has this come on

Hi all as I was takin lil man to school this light came on is it the engine managment or oil im not sure

This is a week since I did the n249 bypass

Deffo engine managment, oil is a red light.

Can you plug it into diagnostics for a code?
Is it driving ok?

It's an invaluable tool everyone should really have.

It'll give you any fault codes and enable you to turn the light off in case it's just a jolt or something that has set the light off.

I've got that exact device and it works a treat. For a tenner it's a lot easier and cheaper than messing about with a laptop.

We only need a code number!

The car seems to be driving fine just annoyoning having that stupid light on.

For the same money (ish) you could have had vagcom which imho every vag owner needs.
All you have bought is a code reader.
But if that suffices your needs, that's fine

I think the temp is still holding and yea I think its dumping fuel I have noticed my miles counter is dropping
