if you only want to change the look of a car then why would you also change the badges? I say change the look sure, but changing the badges is a little pathetic, i don't need to make any changes to mine cos it looks awesome already :D

It's a bit silly saying your car is somert it aint but then again I am James Bond.:-o

Ah well, as it's a company car (but my choice) the only other mod is that it doesn't have a red section on the rev counter

Funny, I just remembered a Mitsubitsi Lancer I saw a couple of months ago.
I was behind it on the M67 in Manchester in a traffic jam.
It had the spoiler removed, crappy mud flaps fitted (possibly with Peugeot stickers) badges removed and replaced with something like Peugeot badges. And I think it had a 1.6D badge!
It was a fairly new Evo too, something like a Evo 9!

I've got a 1.6 seat leon emocion with the BTCC cupra k1 kit - no badges, no centre or double exhaust, does 0-60 in like 10 seconds, so its fairly slow moving off at lights. But I really dont mind im only 19 it looks insanely good, cheap insurance - I tried out of curiosity the quote for me to be insured for a cupra - £7000...

You arent pretending to be a cupra just because you have the btcc kit. It doesnt have a center exhaust so its not a k1 wannabe either

Thats a nice car! But thats insurance quote for a cupra £7000! Are they having a laugh

Having a kit is a different issue than having badges saying it’s something that it’s not. I don’t mind the idea of making a car look good to your standards, but there’s no point putting badges on it to justify it...this merely makes you look like a fool when the real deal pulls up next to you.
It’s like someone with a chrysler 300C saying they bought it because it looks just like a phantom....no mate it looks just like a chrysler 300C
