Will 2006 Cupra bumper fit 2001

Hi

Does anyone know if a 2006 cupra R bumper will fit on to a 2001 cupra 1.8T with out any problems.

Thanks new to leons and lovin them

it will fit yes.
but not a straight fit.

the fog lights are different and the shape of the bumper is different where it meets the wheel arch liver.
so will need a part to fill that in.
the grills are different, and surprisingly so is the centre top grill.

not mk2, late mk1 - well thats what i grasped from the OP

Oh, I thought 2006 was the new leon

2006 did have the new leon, but not the CUPRA.
therefore i have taken this to be the MK1 LCR bumper on a pre-facelift MK1.
loads of people have done this.

Ok so as long as it's 2006 cupra bumper it will fit 2001 cupra 1.8T, still don't undersdtand what part I need to fill the gap are these expensive.

(25) 1ML807479 wheel cover / left / CUPRA R
(25) 1ML807480 wheel cover / right / CUPRA R

there was no MK2 cupra in 2006 and there has never been a MK2 cupra R.
