Off topic Andrew but does the MK2 cupra restrict left foot braking I.E revs die when gas and brake is applied at the same time, I never owned the MK2 thought you might of
Hiya guys and gals, I'm after advice, I've just.spent 7 months trying to save a close friends leon cupra 240 mk2 after some little shithead druggy mistook it for someone elses car and poured white spirit onto the scuttle panel and lit it, the loom and ECU were both totalled, the rest was bolt on parts, now after 7 months I've got it running again, but there is no boost , my delphi is showing P2122 accelerator pedal position sensor low voltage coupled with the EPC light, I've stripped the pedal and it seems fine, resistance is good but can not clear the fault, also if you press the brake at the same time as the throttle, the throttle won't work at all, it's like the pedal is disconnected, lift of the brake and it revs again, it revs to around 5500rpm but not as rapidly as it used to be, ( the eml light is from maf being unplugged which was faulty before fire) the ECU is unlocked/immo removed and came from a perfect running car..... my friend has had a terrible year and I'm trying to get this car back on the road as a surprise for him and his missus by Monday for when they return from a well deserved holiday. Any ideas or even anyone local to Somerset with vag com that go up help ???
Tom
