Will a Golf mk3 VR6 fit my GTI ?

as far as i know the engine fits straight in but im sure wiring loom has to be changed, but i heard that the mounts are the same dont quote me on it tho lol

the engine bolts straight in using vr6 mounts, and the wiring just plugs straight in to the fuse box, if u start with a gti u can use the hubs,shafts and the rad and fans, but using a lesser model like i did (1.4) i had to change a lot of stuff

thers no site link in your sig or it doesn't work thinking of doing this to my cordy as the 16v engine has gone puff

has anyone done one with ac or are they all without if someone has done this do you have to buy the engine with ac or can you bolt on the one off the existing engine?

yep the engine goes in real easy. the wiring was a pain for me though

u dont need the clocks i think u do if u use a odb2 engine but not for the odb1. i cant really think of any really nasty bits tbh. just sort out ur suspension and stuff as well lol
