will clamshell replace lockseam back box

the only standard non gen back box i can get for my fr 180 leon is a lc180 clamshell back box mine had a lock seam type will the clam shell fit bit of a boring one sorry

Aren't they methods of back box construction rather than describing the shape of them?

yes i think they are different methods but the silencers are different shapes i think the clamshell type is longer and was fitted on earlier 180 leons may be they only changed them to make it sound more sporty on later models
