Hey all, SWMBO bought a 06 2.0 TDI 140 Leon Sport, and to be honest we find the ride a little bit too stiff, now I had considered changing the springs to the Eibach pro kit, but another option I was thinking is maybe picking up the Cupra suspension on the cheap, we cant really afford FSDs etc at the min.
can anyone advise if the Cupra suspension would be ok?

thats good to know, will have to keep our eyes peeled!
Does anyone know which would be better? the Eibachs or the Cupra set up?

I have the Eibach Prolines on my Cupra, they're ok, but I'm going to change to Sportlines sometime shortly, purely because they give a better stance than the Prolines. I do have the original Cupra springs, if you want to save a few squid...

Just be sure to check that the diameter of the front struts is the same. If I remember correctly the sportier Leons use a thicker front strut than the lesser models. I'm sure some-one else will jump in and clarify this.

So is it actually the springs that are different or is it shocks as well? I could be tempted by those cupra springs!

Wouldn't the Cupra springs have a different spring rate due to unsuspended weight being different?
Or does the weight of the disks/calipers/wheels make up for the alu stuff?
