Will Cupra Turbo spings fit Mk2 8v

Wanting stiffer springs (mine have done 115k) but with minimal drop. Will the later Cupra springs fit. Anyone done anything similar?

the front springs are not the same & won't fit

rear springs are OK - and dampers are interchangeable

put it this way, i sold my old lowering springs to a mate with a 20vt ibiza and they fit fine..so should be ok the other way round

the top mounts on the 20VT are about 2" higher up - so the springs are longer, and a different shape

They are different & do not fit right. I'm sure you can assemble them, but it's a bodge that is dangerous
