Will this fit my Mk2 Ibiza lol. (same fitment as a Mk4 Polo / Mk3 Golf as far as I know?) ...(The wheel I have atm is so ugly, and it has no airbag btw);

I APOLOGISE if I'm not allowed to put up a link? I can't remember all these rules off different forums. :);

If not (I was just thinking that I don't like the massive VW sign on the middle ha :p) - Would a GTi Cupra Mk2 wheel fit? Or a late 98 - 99 S / SE one fit?

noy sure about the polo wheel but the ibiza cupra mk2 wheel/se wheel will fit.

as will a mk3 Cupra wheel too and a damn fine mod it is too i have a mk2 cupra wheel in the shed somewhere but personally i would keep eye open for a mk3 wheel

if you have no airbag to worry about why not go for a pukka rally wheel like a momo or sparco etc ?

hmm I'm not too keen on them you know... I'd rather a nice OEM one :).. It's just - I've seen two Polo ones going now for like £20, and I know that those are pretty nice, had a go in the car with that wheel. So... hmm. I've asked 4 - 5 breakers on ebay about their steering wheels... I'd much rather a SEAT one though I have to admit, don't want a VW sign on my wheel ha...FAIL.

Mk3 wheels is def the way forward.
I picked up a brand new one on here for decent money.

Oooh mate, go for it! I can't really find one on the Bay at the moment. I'm messaging all the breakers...so that's where it stands. 24mm nut holding it in place iirc? Is it a difficult job? It's pretty tight I'm assuming?

Thanks mate! Forgot how big this forum was! Been hanging about on a more "localised" forum for a while... so yeah, search won't go a miss in future, I'm sure! :)

Depends if it has the air bag or not??
The whole centre is the airbag/ horn push, so you'll have issues without that

Condition of the leather??

He says it's in good condition. It's off a MK3 Cool I think? So is it going to be tricky getting rid of the airbag out of the unit?

Wheel off a 'cool' won't be leather rimmed.

The airbag is the middle part of the wheel. It's what stops you seeing the inside of your wheel, nut etc, plus is also the horn push.

If you don't have an airbag on your car then you just dont connect it so it won't go bang

Yep, I've since learnt that :p...would like a leather one preferably. I've PM'd another Bayer with a breaking Cupra... wait to see what he has to say :)
