Will my Doors lock barrel swap with boot lock?

My Key wont open the boot manually, i am delocking the drivers and passengers doors, but i need access via the boot incase the central locking fails.

Qs-

Will the lock barrel come out of my door and go into the boot?
Why doesnt my boot lock F'in work? the key wont rotate??
If i buy a new remote key (as i only have one) can i / how do i reprogramme it to my car - before i loose my key!?!

u tried WD40 for the lock, my mk2 polo project was the same but with a hairdryer and some WD40 it opened perfectly ever since...
i even used it as a selling point when it went on ebay

probably mate, still did the job.
moved on now though, i sold the red mk2. now got a black mk2 cupra sport for time being
