Hi there before anyone says anything yes I did use the search option and I couldnt find the answer. Will the FR grills (honeycomb) fit the preface lift ibiza fine, with the FR grill fog light covers, just Iv noticed the fr seemss to have that plastic bit intersepting the main grill and the fog light covers, just im ordering my fog light covers once I get the fog light fitted and Iv alread put the main fr grill on, just hoping it will fit fine. Thanks in advance lads :D

mmmm. not sure TBH mate it should do, the gap is a vent for the SMIC on the drivers side that sits just behind the fog light itself,

I think it probably will just want confirmation, I mean the grills are only £10 so its worth a go even if I dont get an aswer but, would be nice to know that they will fit put my mind 2 rest, sure some people have done this, let me know guys :D

the pre face lift fr grills will fit your car i id this to my 1.2 when i fitted the foglamp kit the pre face lift fr has the same bumpers as every other model exept the cupra so they will all fit

Maybe this will help - this is a 1400 Sport and I changed the grills to the honeycomb type.

For the section below the number plate you will need all 3 pieces (left and right foglight cover and centre section) as they are a different shape to the original 'slat' grill.

lol the 3 piece thing relised that when it came 2 putting the fog light covers on haha, ordering em tomorow the fr ones. got seriously stuck fitting them bloody fog lights, couldnt work out which cable to replace or how to get em out, couldnt work out y replacing a cable would work and couldnt get the bloody cable into the car. So paying a garage 2 fit em gona be pricey grrrrr

Can the 3 bottom grills be fitted without removing the front bumper? (The ones under the number plate)

be hard a reckons I removed the bumper for mine, u can do the side ones no problem 1 screw the middle 1 was harder but if u get a screw driver in u might be 2, lot easier to take bumper off

yer I think I cud probably do it with out taking it off but be a hell of a lot easier just 2 pop the bumper off.

yep flat screw driver and lift from the cornors very easy once bumper is off just a bit of hassel to get bumper off but probably the best solution.
