Will VAG COM 409 work with MK4 Ibiza?

I already have Vag-com 409 with a third party USB cable that I use on my Corrado VR6.

If I upgrade to VCDS will it work on a 2006 Ibiza with my cable or will I need one of the official HEX/key/HEX-CAN Interfaces?

I did try the search but nothing came up relating to MK4.

VAG-COM 409/VCDS Lite works with my 2002 "52" Ibiza Mk4.

As long as it is the 6L (look at the 7th and 8th digit of your VIN) then your third party interface should work. VCDSLite will work with most third party interfaces that worked with VAG-COM 409.
