Wind Noise

I've read it before on here that wind noise is common on the mk4, albeit a little annoying!
I tend to get it mainly from the drivers side window at the top so i was wondering if a set of these wind deflectors would solve that?

I've read that HEKO are the ones people tend to go for but I don't recall seeing anyone mention if it cures wind noise or not

Cheers

It cures rain coming in the car when it rains with the window slightly open!
It sits in the channel so might cure the noise or possibly make it worse!

I could do with knowing this as i want some for my car....

Got mine on Monday. I don't think it's made much of a difference with the wind noise but it's stopped the rain dribbling in, which was my reason for getting them.

One thing that worried me is that the drivers side window only went up about 25% before getting stuck when I fitted them. Left them overnight and they're fine now with no sticking.

makes no difference really to wind noise....better tyres are the way forward!

Wind deflectors are really for looks and also stops the drips of water if you have the window open slighty...doesnt really stop water if the window is fully open...found that out this morning when my arm got soaked!

I replaced my Pzero's with T1R's with the hope of reduced road noise... the guy at the tyre shop mentioned they should be quieter too but they arent at all!

The noise i mean seems to be a whistling from the top of the drivers door, pretty irritating at motorway speeds

Ive not noticed any reduction in noise with these wind deflectors on:( although unfortunetly i had the car jetwashed and the windows were fully up and water somehow managed to get in slightly due to the gap the deflector made:(
