Have you had a problem with the window regulator or motor failing?

Reason I ask is a new one is £112 but it should be a fair bit cheaper from a breakers, but if its a very common thing to go, it may just cause more hassle.

;)

yea i think it is pretty common. mine was broken when i bought mine and the other day there was a thread on a window regulator.

my 1.4 drivers window went. got the part in shed as I never replaced it. Keeping it incase the Cupra one goes ;)

Mat-did your 1.4 have the comfort option though? (stops the window going up if something is in the way eg hand) If it didn't it won't fit the cupra

my motor is ok, but the clips that hold the glass to the runners are buggered.

Think you may have been over charged then!

Hmm, the poll results are a little worrying, Ill give the breakers a bell now to see how much a regulator will be from then first I thinks
