Hi Guys,

I've just been on the phone to a company on Exeter and for all round tints and vinyl wrapping the roof they are quoting £285 plus VAT?! So it would come to £335!

They offer a lifetime guarantee and do the work inna dust free environment!

But is that a stupidly high price or not?

Thanks

Well it breaks down as £175 all round tints, and £110 for the vinyl roof and that's excluding VAT!

i know it can cost around £2k to wrap a full saloon car so £110 for a roof sounds pretty good...better than a respray anyway :)

I've been quoted £180 Inc vat for my lc. Have a shop around. Must be plenty of window tint places near you. As for the roof .... Well not got a clue on the going rate.

I paid £140 for tints all round on my 3dr ibiza mk4. Front in a lighter shade from the back with a lifetime warranty while i own the car etc..

Prices can change dependant on areas etc. though?

yeah ive tinted my windows and vinyled my roof. side windows are easy, its the back thats harder. you need to heat shrink the back as its quite a curve. vinyl wrappings slightly easier as theres more give in vinyl just takes a while to do whole roof.

Do you have any good tips to do the back other than heat shrink it... Cheers...... Danny

just dont rush it and work from centre out. also divide the fingers up into lots of small ones then work them out with a little heat. just take your time, you wont get it first time but youl get the idea!.

thats a great price bondiblu!

What's the best way to clean the dot matrix around the windows when I come to tint my boot lid as a few little fingers have appeared at the the bottom of my back windows.... Looks like I will have to re-do them.
