I own a silver 1.2 mk4, and i've just saved the cash up to get my windows tinted. Just wonderin if any other silver ibiza owners have had thers dun and if so, have they got any pictures for me to look at...
Any other opinions from others on how dark to go would be greatly appreciated.
This my car below...

Ive got a dark tint on the back (80%ish I reckon) and around 50% on the front, tho not legal... but not too dark to be stupid

Looks about right to me, but its personal choice at the end of the day!

i heard you culd have about 35%, am i wrong???

Yes you're wrong.

Legal limit for front door glass is that 70% of the light must get through so only a 30% tint is allowed.

Most (if not all now) factory glass is tinted to this limit already.

Mine has a 50% tint and I have had no problems. Unless you go stupidly dark or do other things to draw attention to yourself the you should have no problems.

More than likely yes it will.

Have a look on the window, it will say "TINTED" If it does then it shouldn't be tinted any more.

"Illegal" isn't always "wrong"

If you go stupidly dark you will draw unwanted attention......

In a nutshell.

Most OE have 70-75% light transparency. therefore block 30-35% of light.....

anything on top breaks the law.....but you could put another few %%'s on there and the plod wouldn't notie...
