windows stopped working

i had a leak and my car filled up with rain water!!

ive since dried it out but now the windows dont work!?
ive tryed them with the key, when you hold it for a few seconds when its in the door and that doesnt work either!

checked fuses! cant see a problem

done a search...cant find nothing!

the window switches light up but dont do anything!?

can anyone help?

sounds like some moisture could have go into the winder motors, perhaps check them and connections to them?

Both windows? Can you operate the passenger window from the passenger door or are you trying both from the drivers door? Could be the switch.......

tryed all the switches!! nothing works!

checked the connections,no corrosion!

i test the connector at the motor and i couldnt seem to get any power so i think the motors are ok!but for some reason the im loosing power between the switch and the motor!

im only getting 8v at the switch! is that normal?

where is the fuse for the windows? dont think its one of the ones below the dash!?

sorted, dont ask, but...the fuse had fallen out and i found it tucked into the loom but it was higher than the slot it goes into...explain that!!??

where abouts are the window fuses. i had a look and there is only one fuse above the relays.

thats the one! the other 5 are for electric roof etc (optional extras, or just other features ibiza dont have) thats why i got confussed!?

there is one fuse for the both phil! just above the other fuses, and above the relays!

leak sorted mike, windows alworking!

my pass window aint workin but the drivers is and ive changed the fuse the fuse wasnt blown wot else could it b before removing the door cards

All fuses on mine are fine. Gonna plump and get a new motor soon.
