My windscreen is covered in lots of little chips and marks... tiny enough not to be a problem, but just visible enough to make the screen look dirty.

Are there any products out there that can help with this?

Ta :)

would like comments on this as am in same situation, have small chip/crack that is very slowly beginingt to travel, will take a long time, moved about 1mm in last month or two.

That's the problem, it's not cracked or chipped loads (well, one tiny chip) it's just got lots of little speckles all over it. Almost as if it has had lots of gravel kicked over it. Not a big problem, just annoying.

I use the AG Glass Polish, inside and out, its great, barely need the window wipers on the water just runs off.

Im sure if you built up a few layers it would improve it drastically.

AG glass polish is great for cleaning (it doesn't build up in layers, its just a cleaner) but it won't do anything for your screen Rob, you'd need something very specialised to polish glass clear again.

Help it along and get it changed on insurance.

I've got exactly the same problem with mine - I wondered if maybe some jewellers rouge or similar might help to reduce the marking?

I know my Dad had a Beemer with a bad screen - it just never seemed to be properly clean, and we couldn't remove this hazy film from the outside. He took it to an autoglass type place and the guy had some specific glass polish that did the trick - I thin that was refered to as 'jewellers polish'.
