Having an odd issue with my 2016 Leon FR.
A week or so ago, I got a warning "Windscreen wiper fault" - but the wires still worked fine. The windscreen washer, however does not work for the front.The rear wiper and washer works fine.
Then yesterday the wipers stoped working. Tried again this morning, same issue - but then after moving the stalk up and down it started working fine. Turn the car off, pull key out, turn car back on - no problem. Wipers stay working fine. They only stop working if the car has been off for a few mins.
In all this time, the font washer never works (Pump does not engage - but the wipers (when they're working) start moving when I do try engage the washer) - zero issues on rear washer and wiper they always work.
So, I think it';s unlikely a fuse (Its either blown or its not) - could it be a wiring issue? (The stalk seems fine)
If I clear the codes the windscreen washer code always comes back. At first it did not come back for a day or so. But now it's persistent.
Any ideas?
