Wing Mirror Replacement

Someone has smashed into my car and taken the wing mirror off.

The outer shell, glass and some random black plastic bits have all been broken to peices.

How much is it likely to cost?

Can I upgrade them to a heated version?

there mk 4 golf ones i had a set but sold them,if you look on ebay u can get a replacement sure i see one early

Can you get a heated variety?

yes i had heated ones on my golf but im not sure if you need diff wires mate?

I didn't notice any wires when I checked the damage but it was dark.

Just make sure you don't buy a wing mirror with power folding unless your car already has it. The powerfold mirrors can not be folded by hand without breaking them.

If I buy after market ones, will they be classed as modifications and require me to inform my insurance?
