Winking fog lights.

I noticed tonight that when the head lights were on the fog lights seemed to be on. So I got the wife to stand outside and watch, has I turned a corner and into my drive the fog light on the same side I was turning came on until the steering wheel was straight again then it went off.

All it mentions in the manual is.

"Turning light"
"WHen the indicator is switched on to turn or on very tight bends, the right or left fog lamp automatically comes on to function as a turning light. The turning light only operates if the dipped lights are on."

Has any one else with face lift leon noticed this ?

This is normal mate, happens on my grans MK5 ibiza, as well as our ibiza.

Think you can ask your dealer to turn it of via vag-com

yeah, caught me out early one morning. was ready to phone dealer but thought might aswell look in the manual. glad i did now. .

also know as cornering lights, lots of cars have them, usually mercs and the renault clio hire car that I had ! they do make a difference.
