I can only give you info from my experience...I went to a wheel specialist who said they could help and they ordered 18" wheels to test and see if they would work, unfortunately the Brembo calipers are just too big and they wouldn't fit. The guys working at the shop were all shocked at how big the calipers were.

I ended up buyng another set of performance pack wheels exactly the same as the originals. Even these have minimal clearance fron the inside of the wheel to the caliper, but they are designed specifically for the Brembo's.

I'm sure you could find some 18" wheels to fit, but everyone I have spoke to seems to know nothing about the performance pack, which is pretty frustrating. So I gave up and went for the originals.

Good luck!

Not happy! another set of performance pack wheels = a fortune!! They are supposed to start building my 290 next week so it's probably too late to make any kind of changes :( I wish I ordered it without the king size brakes! Btw, are they any good? have you tried the standard ones? Would you have made a different choice from what you know now?

Oh they are stunnng brakes. Haven't tried standard, but these Brembo's have some serious stopping power.
I'm lucky enough to work for a dealership so I got a nice discount on the wheels :). Given the choice again I'd go with the performance pack. It's a subtle looking and pretty understated car considering how much power it has and those red calipers and 19" wheels contrast nicely with that.

Did your car come with a spare wheel?

Seat will not supply a spare (space saver) with the performance pack as it won't fit over front calipers. However, as has been pointed out, if (big if) the space saver will fit on the rear, then you should be ok as, according to manual with standard 19's, if you get a puncture on the front , you should fit the space saver to the rear and good wheel from rear to front, if you see what I mean.

That should work or does the performance pack come with larger rear brakes??

I don't know tbh, it'd be something that would need checking.
Having said that, the Seat supplied 18" space saver does fit over the standard Cupra front calipers so unless the performance pack rears are bigger than that , (unlikely) it should fit......

Wonder if they have the Brembo logo even though they might be the same.

I just found this:

SEAT has also confirmed details of the wheel, tyre and brake package fitted and to be included in the Performance Pack. The record car had to run on Mk2 Cupra 19-inch wheels to clear the Brembo brakes, which run four-pot fixed calipers clamping 370mm discs at the front. Standard brakes are single pot sliding calipers and 340mm discs, the rear brakes the same on both. Homologating a new 19-inch wheel for the customer pack is one of the reasons it's not available yet. Wheel offset and tyre size (235/35R19) remain as before but the Bridgestones or Pirellis of standard cars are replaced by the Michelin Pilot Cup Sport 2s. There were no further modifications to the chassis, engine or any other parts of the car.
