Winter wheels for Ibiza Ecomotive...

Hi!

I've tried to find references to ecomotives and winter tyres in this section but found nothing specific so here goes...

I want to buy winter tyres and hubs for my '08 ecomotive Ibiza. Currently the tyres are 165/70 R14s.

I'm currently pondering some 165/70 R14s 81T's - Are these ok for my car (or should my tyres be 85V's?)

The T and V are just speed ratings and shouldn't really matter for snow tyres as you don't generally drive fast on snow and ice. Try a google search on tyre speed ratings for more info. You could also have a look at this thread to see what others are saying about winter tyres and what make they're buying.

In the end I bought 5 Blizzak lm-20 165/70 r14 81t

I say bought - ordered from mytyres - I hope I get them soon.

Hopefully I'll be able to give some feedback after the next bout of snow
