As the title says I will be taking delivery in sept of a new cupra and i have amongst other options, gone for racing brakes. Positive the 15" steel wheel will not fit as it was tight on my boc so i'll be looking at a 16". Question is what size of tyre are others with these brakes fitted to their cars, using as in profile etc.

I know i'm a little ahead but now is the time to buy these items..

Can't answer your question but what colour?

Ordered a Red one, hope you dont mind lol.

Went with
Race brakes, pan roof, winter pack and storage pack.
Decided agains leather as i'm hearing that it quickly goes saggy etc.

Due september so looking forward to getting back into the ibiza, Didnt realise how much i missed the boc.

17's only as far as im aware, they aint small breaks, maybe some second hand wheels from the VAG range, loads fit.

the one thing that puts me off the new cupra where the seats.

but yeah, youll get the racing brakes under 16s with the right offset,

mk3 ICR brembos fit under 15" wheels, its all about offset!

as your thinking for winter wheels that must mean you just want a bit more comfort and profile on the road so why not just stick a 45 or 50 profile on a 17" wheel im pretty sure the mk5 cupra comes with a 45 profile tyre anyway so find out if a 50 profile tyre will fit without issues like scrubbing etc on a 17" wheel.

there are plenty of wheels about that fit over the seat sport brakes all in 17" though as a 16" has been tried and tested by many.
to name a few that will fit.

audi tt comps.
audi s3 i think there called avus.
team dynamic pro race in i think a few variants depends on offsets.
compomotives again picking the right offsets.
mk4 cupra alloys.
mk5 cupra alloys.
mk1 lcr alloys.
im sure there are plenty more none of them being 16".

Thanks for the detailed reply. Wanted another set of wheels and winter tyres for basically winter time and to cope with any snow that might appear. I imagine. Also thinking a 16" tyre may be cheaper than a 17" I'm winter form.

Will keep an eye out for some of the ones you listed
Cheers
