Wiper blades

Help !
Left hand side wiper blade flapping in the breeze - easy fix or garage job ?

buy a new wiper blade.

Its the whole damn thing, not just the blade (didn't make it too clear)
Is it purely a case of tightening up, or is it more serious ?

It sounds like the wiper arm has come loose. There's a piece of metal connecting the two arms together, these can pop off. Probably best you lift the bonnet and take a look, should be obvious.

That's what I was hoping, its tipping down here, which is why I haven't really looked yet...
Will take a peep @ lunchtime.

Right, update... just popped the bonnet, you were right, has comeadrift from connecting bar. Trouble is, it keeps coming off now - is this a part that is available, or is it the whole mechanism.
Or if anyone has any cheap/quick fix ideas
