wiper /stalk behaviour on switch off/on

Noticed today if i have been driving with wipers on, stop, return to car (stalk left in ether on/intermediate position) the wipers do not work unless i move stalk up or down when i start driving,

Anybody had this??? (07 FR TDi)

Yep mines exactly the same, it's really annoying but always forget to mention it when it goes into the garage.

would you rather they started again when you started the car and it wasnt raining and they ended up getting ruined? thought not.

Well unfortunatly in good old England, it always seems to be raining when I come back to my car too!

mine does the same, take it that it is a weird feature as apposed to a problem then??

Yep I think its just a 'feature' I like it though but you can prob switch off using VAG.COM if you wanted.
